Before you sign anything, we'll tell you what your budget can realistically achieve — including when it can't achieve what you have in mind. If the numbers don't work, we'll say so, and show you options: stretch, phase the work, or hold. 你的 budget 能做到什么程度，我们一开始就讲明白。
First-time renovating and not sure how much things cost? 完全正常 — most of our clients start there. We walk you through market rates, scope, and where money actually goes, so every decision you make is an informed one.
We don't do countdown promos or "sign today" tactics. You'll get clear information, honest numbers, and room to think. 你方便就好 — good decisions about your home shouldn't be rushed.

Many budget conversations go wrong because "renovation budget" means different things to different people. Here's exactly what Groo covers.

We'll still guide you on these — we just won't mark them up. When you tell us your budget, let us know if it's ID-only (our scope) or all-in — it changes the math a lot.
Budget Anchors · 预算参考
These are honest market anchors for ID-led work in KL — not quotations. Sub-sale / landed refurbishments typically run 20–40% higher due to structural work, rewiring and replumbing.
The essentials, done properly. Minimal carpentry, entry-grade finishing — a clean, livable base without unnecessary spend.
Our most common scope. Full coverage, multiple cabinetry pieces, solid finishing throughout. 大部分 client 落在这个 range。
Designer materials, fully custom carpentry, mood lighting design. For homes where every detail is considered.
Design Fee · 设计费
Our guardrail: your design fee should be no more than 10% of your total renovation budget. If it's higher, the leftover budget can't deliver the design idea — which sets the project up to fail. If we're not a fit for your budget yet, we'll tell you, and suggest how to phase or adjust.

Process · 流程
Share your property info — location & project name, size & type, key collection timing, and your budget in mind. That's all we need to start.
Within a day, you'll get our intro — how we work, relevant portfolio pieces, and a little homework to help you think about how you want to live in the space.
Before any commitment, we align your budget with your scope honestly. If there's a gap, you'll hear it from us first — with options, not pressure.
A relaxed 45-minute conversation about your home, your habits, and whether we're the right fit for each other. No obligation.
Space planning, materials, and drawings developed over 5–8 weeks, with structured sign-offs so nothing moves forward without your yes.
Renovation runs 3–4 months with Groo managing the build against the approved design — through to handover of a home that's ready to live in.
Ideal total runway: about 5–6 months before your key collection or target move-in. 如果时间比较赶，我们也会老实告诉你适不适合。
